Swiftcloud Posted February 6, 2021 Share Posted February 6, 2021 (edited) Hello fellow troopers. I am currently trooping as my favorite version of the greatest bounty hunter - the ROTJ Boba Fett. I have decided to start building the Boba Fett costume from the last episode of the Mandalorian -season 2. I believe some are referring to him lovingly as ???Boba Fresh???, so that???s what I will call it for the time being. I have already started collecting and creating some of the parts that are hopefully close if not exact. I will be mirroring this WIP on the Dented Helmet??forum as well. So far, I have gathered the boots that are believed to be closest to screen used. They are made by Nortiv 8. I still need to make the gators, which I have already gathered material for. Also, I have received the harem style pants. I got these from an online retailer called SHEIN. They look and feel pretty decent and should work for now, until more info is gathered. The black turtleneck undershirt came from an ebay seller, new from China. And as I should have expected is a bit small and tight fitting even though I bought what they are calling extra large. It will have to do for now. I got the rope for the girth belt from Pet hardware website and I am currently sewing it all together. As of right now, I am using parts from my ROTJ suit as a placeholder until I can find or make the new versions. Namely: the flak vest, chest, back and knee armor and gauntlets. The helmet is not my ROTJ one. It???s just the Black Series one. I will be getting the correct one, once a correct one has been certified. So here is my mock-up so far. Also got my leather ammo belt with holster and buckle from SinesIndustries. Still gathering materials and parts. This may be a longer process than anticipated, because I want to be patient and wait for all the found parts and articles to be verified as actual or close to screen used before I make purchases. 4 Link to comment

Better - poofier turtle neck and looser??fitting black undershirt. Still working on the actual helmet, so my old Rubie???s is used as a stand-in. Also, the flack, armor and gauntlets are from my ROTJ - still using as stand-ins. I???ve already started cutting the sintra for the new armor. And I printed the helmet. Just started the paint-up on that. Still a long way to go. Also, I???m stalling a bit until the CRL comes out, so I don???t get way off track. Slow and easy for now. 1 Link to comment

My helmet from Red Bow Props is still being painted, so the Hasbro BS one is on for now. Need to make better knee guards as these are not accurate. And my belt can be tighter, just gotta punch another hole. Hand guards still need paint and I still need to make/buy a Jetpack. But I???m so close now!!! 2 Link to comment

I suited up for these recent pics without my trusty assistant droid (she was recharging at the moment), so some of my parts may not be aligned or connected perfectly. I could not attach my gauntlet hoses on my own. So they are hanging off. But, I am almost at the finish line. (Well, at least until the CRL is released and I find out that I might have to make some updates.) ?? 1 Link to comment
