Hello everyone, Well I will be there in my MudTrooper at some point. I'm still working out my schedule with work so I'm not 100% sure when but I will be, however, I will be??there either Friday or Saturday at some point.?? Now for the N00B questions: If I cannot commit to a time slot for the con can I still come a dress with you guys? Do kit up??outside and enter the con in costume or do we have a place to get our kits on? (i used the term "we" for the first time in referring to the CTG, that felt darn good.) Assuming the answer to question #1 is that we have a changing area, can I also assume the wranglers will help those of us who need help getting into their kits? Before I started writing this I thought I had more questions but I guess that's it. -
Thanks for the kind welcome. ??I???m happy to part of the group. ??You will see me at a couple of these events in the next few months.??

Saturday??morning probably. ??The Star Wars fan photo shoot is 11:00 am -12. Not sure what time the con opens I haven???t even got tickets yet. ?? -
I was thinking about going to Connecticonn this year and wearing my new Mudtrooper to test it out now that I have it ???finished???. However there is no way for me to suit up alone. I was wondering if anyone else was going on Saturday and if so would you mind hanging with me and helping me suit up??

Goggles are next of my task list. ??Mine were cast in the kit from Jim Tripon but I think there are 3D print files available if you just want to go that route. ??

Ok made some progress over the last week. ?? Learning as I go as well. ??I???m leaning heavily on the Mudtrooper group on Facebook. They have been very helpful. ??

Yeah I am going to love making this look dirty. I know I need to make the bucket sit a little lower on my head. But I???m happy. ??

Thanks. ??I???ve already got the CRL printed out and treating it like a sacred text. Ha ha ha. ??I???ve started the process but f getting things primed and painted. ??One thing that is really great about this kit is that it???s supposed to look like it???s been through a war so I???m not stressing over mistakes in paint. ??

I got a chance to lay out the entire kit I got from Jim (except the soft goods.) Wow there are lots of pieces.??
-
Thanks for all the support and encouragement. ??I???m already getting help from the groups on FB and have been in touch with some very helpful people. Now the hard work begins. ??

Ok Everyone, Here go nothing. I figured it was time to start this thread. I've only got?? a few things as of not but I wanted to let you all know I am working on this.?? I've ordered an armor kit and now i'm waiting patiently (or not so patiently) for it to arrive. I've been told it should ship out on Monday.?? ?? The only actual work I've done so??far is to remove the logo tag from the gloves. Evidently the tiny holes left by the threads are actually screen accurate. This weekend I am planning on dyeing my plash black. Lou
