  1. I feel like Rick just walked in here, slapped his ginormous trading card onto the table, and then left.??? Welcome back. I hope COVID quarantine??wasn't too awful for ya.
  2. I've put myself down for the three Friday shifts and the first two on Saturday. I get out of work at close to 11PM on the Thursday night so I can't promise that I will be there at 9AM sharp (or mostly awake lol), but I will try my best. My costume should??still hold up for the two days but I'm good to wrangle and work the table otherwise.
  3. Hi! I requested the day off from work so I should be able to make it. Please put me down for a TK, but I can wrangle and do pictures also if needed. I realise that I'm super-late to sign up and we've already hit the cap - there are worse problems to have!??I still have the day so I can come and do pictures and pay my own entrance fee if needed.
  4. Ooh, neat idea @BFKN! #7 I'm most proud of the "Reach for the Stars"??Pediatric Oncology??Survivorship event we did last year with CCMC. It took a bit of effort to persuade them to give us an invitation, but I had a great time and I feel like we really helped lift some spirits. It was pretty hard not to get just a bit teary when they did the little survivorship walk at the end. I'm sad that we missed the Children's Hospital for May 4th and I hope we get the chance again sometime soon. Both Wishes-on-Wheels and the Pride Parade are sorely missed, too.
  5. As some of you may have become aware (either through the email alerting you to a LXO to LCO confidence vote, or through various social media groups/discussions)??the LCO has been??found guilty of "Conduct Unbecoming of a Trooper" and given a 6 month suspension from the 501st. ??Unfortunately this also means that she is ineligible to hold the rank of Commanding Officer and resigned her position. This process was done with zero transparency and left many people on the Legion Council, including myself, blindsided. Whilst I respect the decision reached by those who oversaw her hearing (of which I know 2 of the 6 personally), this was handled extremely poorly and I have doubts that the charges leveled against her??were serious enough to warrant a trial. A number of us are currently petitioning the Captain of the Guard for further information. In the meantime I would suggest that each and every one of you vote to confirm Ingeli Hedburg (TI-3893, Dawn's appointed XO) as LCO. When I have more substantiated information as to what exactly happened and the way forward for the Legion I will share it. The confidence vote thread:??https://www.501st.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=283&t=106964 - Christopher (TK-66402) ????
  6. As said before, the parade has been postponed by the organisers as a precaution against COVID-19.?? Please do not go to New Haven this weekend. If the parade is rescheduled to a reasonable date (I'm pessimistic it'll be back this year tbh), then we'll see about our entry. Sorry folks.??
  7. Hi folks!??I promised a slightly better breakdown of our financial payments this year. 8. Dinner have been cancelled, due to the parade have been postponed. ?? We have a reservation for 15 people at Slider's Bar & Grill after the St Paddy's Day Parade. Come hang out.
  9. Sweet! At a Blue-and-Gold troop last year they had ultra-DIY cornhole boards with a Sarlacc Pit design to throw the beanbag into, and I've kinda wanted to make that ever since.
  10. 5PM is when we've been asked to arrive. I'll update the top post. It's a bit later than they originally quoted us. I'll just quote what I've been told by their manager: ??
