Amenities available at venue: The event is in a historic mansion and has bathrooms, indoor and outdoor space, and it's a wedding so there will be an open bar. We're looking for a appearance later in the event for the more "party" portion but this will be during dessert. We could also arrange for a dinner before the appearance and dancing if that's preferred!
Comments: We are getting married on May 4th 2024 and although it will not be a Star Wars themed wedding per se (although it is a celestial theme), we will have cute little touches throughout the party. For example, we will have character bubble wands during the ceremony and our signature cocktails are Star Wars themed, so we think it would be a really fun touch to have costumed members show up to surprise guests after dinner for dancing. We are planning on making a donation to Make A Wish as opposed to providing expensive favors as that is how we were introduced to the 501st in Colorado at a charity auction.
Referred by:  We are familiar with the 501st in Denver where we currently live as they host a charity auction for Make a Wish that we attend every year (and we will be using a lot of things won from the auctions in wedding decor around the venue) so that is why I wanted to reach out to you first before somewhere else.

Hi Crew, 

So Deb is  the wedding planner for the wedding and her number is 860-949-4073. We will be Doing a Grogu toss instead of a garter toss. We will be on the dance floor for that and photos at 8:30 so we will get to the venue for 7:50pm

I'd like to do this too.  I need to check the distance and directions from Alana's house before I commit.  It says we have a secure changing area so that's always a Win in my decision making process.  Do we have to give them a definite yes by a deadline?

I see that they are requesting only 4 characters and 2 have committed. If Legairre and Brian can assist me in getting kitted back up when we get there I can join as a third. There's just no way for me to get into Boba by myself.... or out of it by myself. So I need you for both. 

If you guys are willing to do that then count me in. If not, not a big deal. I can stay at Alana's a little longer  :) Let me know how to proceed.

@Gian Daro, I'm happy to help you suit up.  I'll be going in my TK, so we'd probably need to arrive earlier than 7:50.  40 minutes to get you kitted up and then me in sequence might be a little tight.

@Lgrad, would an earlier arrival time be doable?

That would be great.  I was hoping you were doing a TK. They are always a crowd favorite. Thank you. Yeah if they want us out on the floor by 8:30 we should arrive around 7:30, find our changing area and get ready.  It's a 25 min drive from Alana's so I'd probably head out around 6:45 just to give myself enough time with evening traffic.  And if Legairre is coming as the Dark Trooper he'll need time and assistance as well.

We can arrive as early as we need. I will be in my shadow trooper so We can all help each other get in and out of kit and we have billy too

Excellent! Yes, we can all help each other!  So I'll be planning to get there by 7:30 the latest.  Is someone going to meet us so we know where to go?  Can we coordinate what time you both are planning to arrive to this so I'm not sitting in the parking lot waiting and you're already inside lolol

I will make a chat for us via Fb or if we are all good to text we can make a text chat. I have the wedding planners info. I told her we will be there for 7:30.

Texting is best for me as my FB messenger on my phone decided to stop working.
