Pleasure to make your acquaintance. I'm currently working (albeit slowly) on a custom legacy Mando. Might I inquire what the difference is between the Mandalorian Protectors and the Mandalorian Mercs?

Thanks. I planned on sanding around all the edges to smooth them out and get rid of the strings.

Trying to follow up on my new year's resolution to work on my Mando armor. Question for those who've worked with sintra, is it a problem if the outer layer frays/peels along the edges, or can I slap some putty on those spots and sand it down?

Finished painting the helmet and gauntlets.?? Next up scoring and blackwashing.

Got my top coat of paint on, pulled of the tape and washed off the toothpaste.?? Still need to apply a blackwash to the exposed areas.?? A portion of tape ended up pulling up all the paint down to the primer on the front, so I'll need to redo that area.?? Thinking I might just apply the base silver and try to get it to look like a blaster hit.

I've slifhtly modified my initial design, and have decided to go with a legacy armor design.
??
Making decent progress on the helmet.?? Applied base silver coat, added toothpaste for weathering effects, put on second gold layer, and now adding tape before applying the final black layer.

Would it be all right to arrive a little later (12:45 - 1:00)??? My kids each have sporting events that end around 12:00 so my wife and I each need to take one.

Even though I mamaged to put together a trooper costume I don't think my costuming skills are that great so I'll definitely be leaning on the group for assistance.????
Right now I'm thinking of a custom mando for MMCC approval.?? My son designed an outfit for me in Mando Creator, but I told him I might go in a different direction.

May 4th CCMC of last year is my favorite.?? A couple years ago my kids were on the other side of that event, so it meant a lot to be the one in costume brightening up the kids and parents.?? I really missed not doing it this year.
As for what troop I'm lookong forward to the most, any one that gets Fire Team Vanilla back together is fine by me.

I don't think anything will touch the original TIE Fighter, and I'm not much for multiplayer, bit I'm very excited to try this out with my PSVR.?? Battlefront 1 had one VR mission that was enormous fun.
