  1. Election Stuff: https://www.501st.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=287 From Legion: Elections are soon. Legion is unable to process All-Member Email Spams without risk of being rate limited by our provider. We can mail Council, however. We know that most of you already keep your units informed during Elections and that is most appreciated. As always, we rely on proper flow of information per our OP, however in this cycle it is crucial because there will not be email support directly from Legion in the form of mass spam. Please continue to alert your members to each phase of the Election Cycle in whichever manner makes sense for your unit. More Elections info can be found here in the forums, and questions can always be sent to elections@501st.com Please let this email serve as the first alert, that of Nominations starting. 2026 Elections Timeline Nominations Start: Feb 2nd @ 12:01AM GMT End: FEB 06th @ 11.59pm GMT Q & A's Start: Feb 7th @ 12.01am GMT Ends: Feb 11th @ 11.59pm GMT Closing Statements: Start: Feb 12th @ 12.01am GMT Ends: Feb 12th @ 11.59pm GMT Voting Start: Feb 13th @ 12.01am GMT Ends: Feb 17th @ 11.59pm GMT Elected Positions take Office: Feb 23rd @ 12:01AM GMT Regards -Legion Admin

  5. excellent im looking forward to see your progress!
  6. with 3D Printed parts just make sure your finishing routine is very good because print lines will show up very glaringly on a gloss piece and they'll keep you from getting approved The best advice i can give since im not a tie pilot is as you work on each piece make sure that that part is meeting the CRL. Dont wait until you're done with the build to start comparing them https://crls.501st.com/jrs/tie-pilot-original-trilogy Have you started a build thread on the JRS Detachment boards?
  7. Hey chris! Good to have you aboard Tie Pilots are a great costume that are relatively easy to build and are super recognizable and loved by a ton of people The Tie Piilot detachment is called Jolly Roger Squadron, which has a ton of resources on putting your build together. https://forum.jrs501st.com/ If you ahven't already looked there are several different types of TIE pilots that are approvable costumes for the legion here https://crls.501st.com/jrs Most people like to do the classic Original Trilogy pilot. We also have armor makers and Tie Pilots in the garrison so when you're ready we can provide you with all the resources you'd need to get started. As a new recruit youre welcome to attend any event we participate in as a "wrangler" until your kit is complete and then you can go as a costumed character You're also welcome to attend any social gatherings we have. December is pretty slow but on 12/13 we're having an "end of year dinner" at Sliders in Wallingford which would be a good opportunity to meet a bunch of us in a casual setting and have a decently fun time. the sign up list is here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oWAzVeeYFEVi-I4vhBp94PMZkd2Bw7m9Zlz4OHi7T5E/edit?gid=0#gid=0 Locally we have a private facebook group and a discord to more actively keep in touch than the forums allow FB Group: https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1AJjYnkm5Z/ Discord: https://discord.gg/YTGdn4yP Hope to hear from you/see you around soon! Take some time and look through the boards and reach out if you have any questions!
  8. Hey Dan! I'm sure we've crossed paths but its good to have you as a recruit in the garrison. Weird time to join as leading into december is a slow time for our garrison, but we're staying active with a few social events that you're more than welcome to attend to meet members and discuss your kit and build As a recruit you're can wrangle at any of our events (or as a merc you can sign up and attend in kit) We have an armor party this friday in Middletown if you have the time, we also have a end of year dinner in Wallingford that you'd be welcome to join! If you have any questions feel free to reach out and we'll point you in the right direction. Here is a link to our discord server: https://discord.gg/e3G9hbXz6p Here's a link to our closed FB Group for the connecticut clubs where we share a lot of information informally: https://www.facebook.com/share/g/19iwzMzBvA/
