So yesterday @Madxena??and I were able to finally put some paint on the helmet so here are some pics! Next would be decals but we are a bit worried with the matte black having good connection to the decals. Otherwise a fun day! Hopefully next we can have the decals on and then gloss!??

HAHAHA I honestly will take 48+ hour ban because this isn???t good that it???s still not done. But I am praying that it will be because I???m making a move on it this weekend with @Madxena??and for the next few weeks as well so we gonna try lol.

Here are some new things that were recently done, all thanks to Michelle Croutch! The disc on the ears of the helmet were molded since the helmet is fiberglass and so because I have real metal discs Michelle was kind??enough to sand down the molded ones. As for the teeth they were also cut out. Now it awaits my arrival so I can start adding bondo and sand it down!??

Helmet #1 was not the correct style tie helmet. If my memory stands true I was told by Spec Ops that????it was a Return of the Jedi style tie helmet and the chin wasn???t correct. The Inferno helmets style must be Rogue one Tie style. The builder for the first helmet was JawaChopShop and good thing is he shut down his store as he was a 501st member who was making armor and props that were not 501st approvable and never communicated with people when they asked for refunds.??

happy to see the help you're getting because its one of the awesome things about this garrison and the 501st! One tip that is not Kylo related is that you should be careful buying items from places like Etsy as they arent always what you think and may not be screen accurate, even if they say 501st approved. @Halfrek??is right in that you will need to take your time and be diligent because I myself ran into trouble buying a helmet which the seller said was accurate and when it came time for me to send in my submission pics????I was denied membership with my helmet being inaccurate for the character im portraying.??

Hi all,??
Its been awhile since I've posted an update as to where I am at with Del. About a little over a month ago I sent in my approval pictures and unfortunately had issues with just my helmet. Everything else from neck down seems to be great so Im on the road to getting a helmet from Jim Tripon, which Ill be trying to paint and complete myself.
As for the rest of????my costume I've just been making minor adjustments and at the same time putting together two pieces that arent part of the approval. One is my chest box, which for awhile I had not done anything with it but finally glued??on the first four boxes today and added the white strip yesterday. Still lots more to do with this little box but it will be done before the helmet. Second is my blaster which is almost all glue together and ill be on my way to doing bondo and primer and painting soon.??
Id like to just point out again how thankful I am to many of you here as much of whats been??made couldn't be done with y'all. I estimate to be ready and resubmit in time for Terrificon as I know painting helmets will take time.??

Hey, when you're done head on over to the Imperial protocol section here in the forums and head down to the membership and approval handbook. From there follow the steps found under the approval process section. Then the GML's will take it from there!

Hi all,??
Del is about 90% complete and I have been granted provisional approval for this event. There were some complications with my helmet but thanks to Sarah, Chris and the GMLs things are getting adjusted. Luckily for me I can still be Del without the helmet so now I can wrangle and take some awesome pictures for the garrison. Excited to see many of you again and see y'all??soon.??
