Bought a plastic-only kit from MonCal. Arrived a few weeks back!
I'm gonna paint the thing in a Feldgrau and try to match it to the fabric as much as possible.?? I think the film one was more of a green, but this should look better in person under warm lights instead of set paint.

Are we doing the full 10am - 4pm time??? ??Trying to pick my costume based on my health ability to troop for that long

Quentin is right, basically any events that have a character cap, first chance goes to our local CTG members, then anything else is everyone welcome!
We don't usually have caps on costumed characters at events (and if we do, we often don't meet them except for a few events out of the year) so I'd suggest taking a look at our??Confirmed Events section.?? We actually have one happening this Sunday!

As a retired member, you'll have to be re-approved before you can sign up to costume for events (though if you want to participate as a wrangler/out of costume support, it's extremely appreciated).??
To get reapproved, please follow the procedure in the Membership Handbook.?? It will detail required pictures, the email to send them to, and other FAQ questions about status

I think Saturday is full for free passes, but if you have your own there's absolutely still room.

The rules to the best of my knowledge are; at LFL and high profile events (movie premieres, televised non-parade things, etc) don't wear it if it doesn't go with your costume.
Otherwise, go crazy and have fun!

That being said, might I convince you to build out your TK into a Heavy Weapons Trooper variant? Only a different belt, some pouches, and a backpack
?? There's like 8 of us!

Our host is having disk space issues that are affecting some pages of our forums.?? Working to resolve with them.?? Don't panic
