What kind of opening mechanism are you using for the bracers? I'm printing mine out now using the GrapeStudioArt files at 105% but I dont think I can make the bracers big enough for my hand to fit all the way through without making it look too big. Did you end up making them all one piece with inserts inside to stop it from moving?

Update on the armor situation: ?? ASP cancelled my order and refunded my money. Thankfully, there was no change in the currency values through paypal, so I got all my money back??? ?? A guy in Washington State reached out to me to sell his DT armor for really big discount and it's since come in the mail! Came with an ASP Mk.4 helmet, finished belt, and finished armor, with Jim Tripon's shins along with a chest rig to wear. Super thankful for Nick and am glad I ran into him. I'm very busy with finals and thesis presentations so I haven't had a chance yet to do a proper test fit to see what needs to get replaced, but I'll keep everyone posted.

I'm almost done working on my E-11D blaster! I still have a few small pieces that need to be sanded and primed, but I've also bought screws and am currently working on getting the whole blaster assembled. I have a few question that I hope some people may have answers to: ?? 1. (Unless I'm blind) I don't see a description on the Death Trooper CRL on the barrel's color. I've heard from others that this is supposed to have an aluminium finish to it. I have Alclad Chrome on hand for my Din Djarin build. Could I use this instead of aluminium? ?? 2. I've spoken with @Feliz??and he's in the same boat as I am regarding lighting/electronics for the blaster. I want to equip the blaster with all of the necessary LEDs, however, I've never worked with electronics before and I'd appreciate any help with this. ?? Thanks!

?? Yea, I've been looking around the SpecOps threads for shop suggestions but some of the shops currently offering armor kits have some inaccuracies that, at that price point, I'd rather not have. I could purchase the files off of Tom Campbell, but I'll probably be out of a 3D printer in a month, so I wont have the means to print the armor for myself. I'll probably end up ordering a fiberglass resin kit from Jim Tripon, however, I'm waiting to hear back from another shop before I make my decision.?? ?? I ordered a helmet from a shop in Europe so I dont want to order one from Jim if I'm gonna receive that one, but still remains to be seen how that plays out.

I've sent in a full refund request to PayPal, however, due to currency conversions and the Russian ruble being valued less than it did in February, I'll probably end up losing $110. As far as I understand it, I get refunded the original amount the seller received, so 96,404 rubles. Was worth $1275 in February, but now thats worth about $1165

Awesome! So excited this is happening! I'm currently working on a full Beskar Din Djarin costume for 501st approval, cross-approval if possible. I don't have much in the way of skills, but I'd love to pick up new ones (especially sewing). I've done a lot of 3D printing work in the last few months and have worked with a handful of different products so I've gotten really good at smoothing out prints, and I'd be more than happy to lend a hand in that department.

I had the exact same question, so don't feel as though it is a dumb one. I went to the first meeting and kinda just hung around in the back, and spoke a few times whenever I felt comfortable. It was a fun and exciting meeting so I would recommend going to meet others.

Haven't been on the forum, but I just saw this comment. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make it in time for the parade! ??I was staying with family in Jersey that Sunday so didn't get a chance to see everyone and their costumes. I'm heading back upstate this weekend for the rest of the semester, so won't get a chance to meet people until the summer, but I look forward to it!

Hey everyone! I'm Hector Rivera, an amateur cosplayer from New Haven, CT., although I am currently abroad finishing my bachelor's in Upstate New York. I got into cosplay around Halloween last year when my friends at college wanted to dress up as Marvel characters for a party and I pieced together a Nick Fury costume. Around the same time, I also went above and beyond and bought myself a Batman suit XD. Anyway, I figured with two costumes, I should probably wear them and take photos rather than leave them to collect dust in my tiny college dorm closet, so I decided to create an Instagram page for my cosplay adventures and have recently stumbled into 3D printing. A few weeks ago, I'd say around early February, I decided that my next BIG project would be a Star Wars Imperial Death Trooper and so I've started to piece together a DT armor from various shops. I'm not yet 501st approved as this is my first costume Star Wars related, but I really hope to use this one to join the legion with. ?? Looking forward to chatting with you guys and maybe seeing you guys at events soon.
