We have all sorts of Star Wars-themed stations, which often include crafts, story times, a "lightsaber training" session with a local kempo academy,?? lectures and discussions, and more. We have not yet finalized our programming line up for this year but we expect to have a day and a building full of activities and programs for all ages. This event is for a Star Wars themed Summer Reading event at the Middletown Russel library.?? The hosts are very excited to have us, and it should prove to be a short but sweet event. Blasters????? Snacks and Drinks????? Secure area for stuff????? RSVP date: May 1st Arrival Time: 9:00 AM Parking in Middletown can be a little rough, so if we can carpool at all it'd be helpful. We've love to host the 501st again for AvonCon, the Avon Library's annual all ages celebration of comics and graphic novels. Our event runs from 11am-4pm. We transform our library into a pop culture celebration--the 2018 theme is "Twisted Tales" and what better way to celebrate than to have the troopers literally storm the castle?!
