Hello all! So I am good friends with the New England Garrison's CO and he is really into getting everyone working together in the region. He has worked at integrating the 501st, Rebel Legion and the Mandalorian Mercs into one big group working together to share the responsibilities and events. We were chatting and he is open to thoughts on integrating the CTG into the NEG. I wasn???t in the group at the time, but he explained the split happened mostly because of some bad blood(?) and would like to put that behind us and move forward now that we have so many new members. The NEG includes the Lil Rhody Squad and the Green Mountain Squad, that are their own little clans but have the added benefit of being part of the main group. So basically the benefits would be, a bigger events team to be able to find and sign up for more events. Also more members in the New England area would be aware of the troops in Connecticut and would volunteer more. People are willing to travel to many of the other states, so I bet you would see more willing to troop down here. PR would be bigger, budgets would be bigger, etc. However, it would mean changes to CTG staffing and merch???.so there is that. ??I know recently it has been happening more often and we would really like to reach out more to open the boundaries and help each other out to get more people interested in troops down here. So yeah, long story short, just passing on the message of the thoughts we were bouncing around the other day, and we were interested in what you guys might think ?? Not here to start drama, or feel like they are trying to make a hostile takeover, lol, just wanted to send out feelers and see what people were thinking.

Yay a Sunday troop, and so close to home! My Mando is getting some minor upgrades and not quite sure if I'll have it back together by then. But Jedi is always ready in case.

Will be switching to Twilek Jedi because I didnt finish tweaks to my mando. Also which garage was closest to park at? Was it Winter???

If there aren't enough passes on Sunday, I can back out to let an official ctg member take one??

If there is space and a pass available, I can be there all Sunday! Most likely as Mando

Unfortunately I won't be able to attend As second in command of the Firaxan Clan my CO wants me at the Firaxan meetup/photoshoot the same day. Hope you guys have a good time and hope to find a ct troop I can attend soon!!

That is completely understandable!! I would not mind at all to back out if someone wants to go! This one was just a lot closer to me and work in Hartford so I figured I'd offer! I will keep checking in to make sure. Thank you!

EDIT: I would like to join you guys if there is still room. I should have my new Twi'lek Jedi ready to go and I could help with soft wrangling for armored troopers.

Hey guys! I'm bringing my crew from the NEG they are working on getting forum names to hit the trooping button. But I'll have three Mandalorians and maybe a TK and photographer/wrangler.?? Cant wait to see ya'll!!??

So if there's no place for bins, shall I get in kit at my car? And is parking relatively close? Never been to this place before.??

If I can get a badge, I would like to stop by by after work Friday night for the 6-9 shift as my Mandalorian!! It's the only time I'm free all weekend sadly. (I can't exactly skip my own birthday party, lol)

So it's fairly consistent being early July. It's definitely turned a bit away from Anime with the popularity of DC/Marvel movies. I went last year and they had a Star Wars photo shoot meet up and it was actually pretty big. All just fan made costumes so they were ...alright...lol. But there were definitely a lot of fans. It is too close this year but I think it may be worth it?? for next year! I'll see if I can dig up my pictures from last year

I'm a newbie so this may be a already discussed topic, but I was just curious as to why you guys don't attend ConnectiCon?

Bummer, I can't go. Its a big event weekend at work (The "Messtival Festival") so I have to be there the whole time.

Is there anywhere specific you guys post pictures of events to? I didn't take any but I'd love to see the ones you guys got whenever they are posted! Thanks! And I had a great time with you all
