Me and Rich are here. It's sprinkling but not bad. They are just having parking in the main parking. We will be in our TKs Also the parking lot is muddy, be careful not to get stuck. Also Branden who is friends with the faire owners told them we may have members coming both days this weekend and they are okay with it. So troopers will be welcome Sunday too.

Technically the faire is open rain or shine. They are still hoping for some troopers. But time travelers is both days so people could go sunday too, This is unofficial, just saying what I know from my faire friends.

I will be helping with this. If we could get one more TK that would be great!!

My mando is sintra but I have never had that happen before. Might have been a different type. Chips and rough edges are okay for battle damage but stringy looking fraying wouldn't because it's supposed to metal. See if you can sand or even heat it possibly.

I found a fabric at JoAnns that worked really well as a neck seal without being all stiff like the rubber ones. It's not quite as exact but it works and looks just as good. If you're interested

I decided to wear my Mando seeing as it's meta right now, lol. But I'm bringing my lightsabers for visitors to hold for pictures.

Again it was mainly just a question out of curiosity and they just wanted to let you know you are still considered a good ally?? Hello all! So I am good friends with the New England Garrison's CO and he is really into getting everyone working together in the region. He has worked at integrating the 501st, Rebel Legion and the Mandalorian Mercs into one big group working together to share the responsibilities and events. We were chatting and he is open to thoughts on integrating the CTG into the NEG. I wasn???t in the group at the time, but he explained the split happened mostly because of some bad blood(?) and would like to put that behind us and move forward now that we have so many new members. The NEG includes the Lil Rhody Squad and the Green Mountain Squad, that are their own little clans but have the added benefit of being part of the main group. So basically the benefits would be, a bigger events team to be able to find and sign up for more events. Also more members in the New England area would be aware of the troops in Connecticut and would volunteer more. People are willing to travel to many of the other states, so I bet you would see more willing to troop down here. PR would be bigger, budgets would be bigger, etc. However, it would mean changes to CTG staffing and merch???.so there is that. ??I know recently it has been happening more often and we would really like to reach out more to open the boundaries and help each other out to get more people interested in troops down here. So yeah, long story short, just passing on the message of the thoughts we were bouncing around the other day, and we were interested in what you guys might think ?? Not here to start drama, or feel like they are trying to make a hostile takeover, lol, just wanted to send out feelers and see what people were thinking.
