  1. Middletown Pride Parade will be hosted on June 4th during their Middletown PrideFest event!???? We did this last in 2019 and it was quite enjoyable.?? Feel free to decorate up your costumes how you please.?? This will likely be a NO BLASTERS event. More details to come regarding parking/setup/etc.?? Parade current start time in 2pm, but our stepoff could be some time later than that. Rain date is Sunday, June 5. ?? Check In Tent at the corner of High St and Spring St, someone from our group will check us in (Joe or myself probably).?? People will direct us where exactly we go. Only march unit vehicles are allowed in assembly area.?? 3. Do not throw anything to spectators. This is a safety issue. Small children tend to run after these, regardless of vehicles.?? 4. Units with animals are required to clean up after the animals. This is a public health issue. ?? 5. The 48th Annual Christmas Torchlight Parade, held in Old Saybrook CT, has invited the Connecticut 501st Garrison!?? What's cooler than a night time parade under torchlight? ?? Parade information: In formation no later than??5:45??on Coulter St. The head of the parade starts at Coulter and main.?? Park at the Denali lot. That's the one at elm Street.?? They're going to let us change if we arrive before 5 there. ?? REGARDING THE WEATHER! It's currently forcasted to be.... COLD AS SITH! ?? ?? The wind chill is low, but you TKs are gonna be feeling it!?? Especially with that light breeze.?? I will have hand warmers en masse you can pack them into gloves, boots, undersuit, etc.???? Keep in mind this is the temperature! We'll get more precise forecast as the day gets closer.?? If this is too cold for you, do not hesitate to back out! Please be sure to watch the thread more.?? Strict compliance with the flag code (Public law 623 is enjoined, part of which reads as follows: Section 176, paragraph C--- ???The flag should never be carried flat or draped over the hood of a car, but always aloft and free.??? 8. The official judges for the marching and musical competitions are from the Northeast Judging Association and are located at the reviewing stand on Church Street in front of New Haven City Hall. Judges will deduct points for lack of uniformity, excessive spacing between units, blocking spectators by handlers, and flag code violations, to name a few. 9.
