  2. Dinner have been cancelled, due to the parade have been postponed. ?? We have a reservation for 15 people at Slider's Bar & Grill after the St Paddy's Day Parade. Come hang out.
  3. Sweet! At a Blue-and-Gold troop last year they had ultra-DIY cornhole boards with a Sarlacc Pit design to throw the beanbag into, and I've kinda wanted to make that ever since.
  4. 5PM is when we've been asked to arrive. I'll update the top post. It's a bit later than they originally quoted us. I'll just quote what I've been told by their manager: ??
  5. Just a reminder to everyone that CT is supposed to be in for a non-insignificant amount of snow tomorrow, and to please make sensible decisions about driving in this weather. If it would be dangerous for you to come tomorrow, please do not make the trip. Trooping is not worth putting yourself potentially in harm's way.??
  6. until

Hello in, my name is Christopher.
  7. Thank you @bsands, @Wildcardz, @BFKN, and @MagyarSoldat??for coming this afternoon. Making a good impression with a new contact at the hospital was vital, and they were extremely to happy to have us. Great job troopers!
  8. You really going to break the streak, @macloed316? Of course you are welcome.
  9. Awww no! Sorry Nick. One space left for tomorrow if anyone is interested. @MagyarSoldat??@Wildcardz??@bsands??@BFKN??- please check the first post. I added some details you might want to double check. Please also note my new phone number.
  10. I've been playing a fair bit on the Switch. My friend code is SW-1804-3996-0200.
  11. I'm in too. Lemme adjust the first post.
  12. @Backpacks Got Jets??has been kind enough to put us up after the Pride Parade again this year. Drink beer and enjoy not being in armour. BYOB please. You are welcome to bring own food too if desired.
  13. Made a reservation for afterwards at Bobby V's if anyone is interested:?? They have pretty good wings if you're interested in those.
  14. A reservation has been made in our name at Bobby V's sports bar and restaurant for 4:30PM after the Space EXPO troop, April 4th. I was actually pretty impressed with the place after last year, and it'll be a nice way to wind down after a day in costume at the Museum. I've quoted 10-15 people but we can adjust upwards if needed. Their menu is here:??https://www.bobbyvsrestaurant.com/wl-menus. Again, depending on numbers, we can order beforehand and have food waiting, or do it when we get there.
  15. So Sarah and I get back into this game after three years. If you too are crazy enough to wander around collecting pocket monsters in the dead of CT winter, please add me! I promise to send you gifts when I can. My code: 7068 0877 4066
  16. That's totally fine if you like. We'd??love to have you for the parade though - wranglers are always appreciated. You could help people get suited up beforehand, then march alongside us carrying water and make sure everyone is doing okay. Also, the crowd tends to get a little rowdy sometimes (St Paddy's Day isn't exactly a dry holiday ;)) so you might need to do a small of crowd control. The occasional drunk who really really wants Vader to stop for a picture in the middle of a busy parade. ?
  17. Welcome Brian! Are you a joyful Jor'alor?
  18. until

    Please do!
  19. I'm game, but that might require @magni??to stop waving his saber around for 5 minutes.
  20. Welcome Ethan! How's your costume coming along and how can we help?
  21. I've been having a cleanout of my physical and digital documents recently, and I've found plenty of stuff that's quite relevant to the CTG but isn't up somewhere public for people to look at. Some of it is letters thanking us for participation in certain events or for??fundraising towards charitable causes. Other documents??are??signed memorabilia addressed to the CTG that I've held onto. There's now two new galleries set up for everyone to view this stuff and contribute to as they can: Memorabilia -??https://ctg501.com/community/index.php?/gallery/category/6-memorabilia/??(Anyone can add to this gallery but will require approval from Command Team before it is made public. Please keep to materials??addressing the 501st and/or the CTG.) Thank Yous -??https://ctg501.com/community/index.php?/gallery/category/7-garrison-thank-yous/??(Posting restricted to Command Team??only.) I thought it would be a nice idea to have a public space to display archival material related to the Garrison. You lot get to see all the stuff we've been collecting, and it's a useful record of things we can use to show outside groups that we're a positive influence on our communities in Connecticut.
