  1. I'm just curious since I did the Eric Yako troop pretty much two months ago?
  2. Need to see what my schedule is like round then, don't know if I'll have the day off. Definitely sounds interesting!
  3. ABS is too hit or miss with print quality, too much shrinkage or warping, I use PETG
  4. Na, my printed material is good up to 200 degrees farenheit, pla warps at 110 degrees.
  5. This is true, the legion does assist the community??by doing charity work. But we also wear our costumes to support Star Wars in general??at events. So by us being there were helping Eric, someone who's supported us as a garrison in the past, and the community by bringing a large organization such as the 501st to the event. But, if the vast majority of people going don't have an interest in BAT, then we can do something else ?
  6. I kinda agree with the skull here, it kinda saps the fun out of an event being stuck somewhere and getting??shot at. Better to walk around and get attention than be locked down in a single corner
  7. Thank you, it was a lot of hard work, research and time that went into that kit, glad it paid off!?? Awesome background by the way
  8. Here's the original CRL pic with background??
  9. You can use this one, you may have to edit out the background, but it's something. But I'll have to take some other ones if you want something else??
  10. My other variant, they wanted to use it, but LMO wanted 3 different people??
  11. http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TR_Praetorian_Guard#Version Three My kit is the CRL Think I'm good now??
  12. Not a big fan of shifts, but I could??possibly be there. I'm not sure of my plans.??So, not gonna sign up for one??
  13. Definitely, and always head to the detachment forums. They have list of parts and helmets, and supplies and so forth. The royal guard helmets don't let you move your neck, and they run kinda small, so ask around. Don't use pepakura, and be aware the protectors don't have approval levels, so it needs to be spot on. So double check with them??

Cant go, had my time off request??canceled??
  15. I think since the first two directors had creative differences with Kathleen, it'll be an awesome movie since Ruin Johnson and her destroyed TLJ. Plus Ron Howard knows what he's doing??so.. I'll support it if it's good??
  16. For this event in gonna keep my avalibilty open, if last year was an indication of what's to happen we could have times where only one person is in armor again. I'll be with the V group, so I'll be nearby to cover as needed??
  17. No, it's not allowed unless it's an officially approved costume through the imperial cadets, that's the only instance.?? Soft costumes like a Jawa, Tuskin, and Ewok are acceptable kids costumes. I don't mean to make a big deal about it, but this has been an issue in the??past, and for our newer members it needs to be clarified ???
  18. In order to create an open forum and a reasonable place for discussion I created this thread here for open discussion about all trooper's opinions and discussion about Children attending events Any comments or concerns about the CTG or 501st policies or procedures regarding children at events should take place here.?? Posting discussion about children attending events in other threads or topics may result in those posts being removed and the comments being redirected to this thread. ?? Thank you all for your understanding. ?? --- ?? ?? No, children are not acceptable, they may not troop with the group, if they want to walk around the comic con floor, that's okay, but they may Not.. troop with the group. There were no children is armor in the movies, and you need to be over 18 to be apart of the 501st. Those are the rules, and we need to follow them. Children need to be apart of the imperial cadets, and can only troop in height acceptable costumes.??
