Comments: This is our long waited for wedding. My fiance has spent much of his life focusing on serving others and now it is time to celebrate our lives and our happiness together. We have chosen May the Fourth for the obvious reasons of being huge Star Wars fans. It was our first wish to have members of the 501st join us in celebrating our wedding. Paul, my fiance, received notice that since it’s a popular day for you, there are not any members available. I know that there will be members very nearby at an event in Bristol CT that day and am hoping/praying that together we can make his wish come true! I am hoping for any time at all, even just a quick appearance at any time during our event!! We are also happy to make a charitable donation to help those in need. We're looking for a appearance later in the event for the more "party" portion but this will be during dessert. We could also arrange for a dinner before the appearance and dancing if that's preferred! Comments: We are getting married on May 4th 2024 and although it will not be a Star Wars themed wedding per se (although it is a celestial theme), we will have cute little touches throughout the party. For example, we will have character bubble wands during the ceremony and our signature cocktails are Star Wars themed, so we think it would be a really fun touch to have costumed members show up to surprise guests after dinner for dancing. We are planning on making a donation to Make A Wish as opposed to providing expensive favors as that is how we were introduced to the 501st in Colorado at a charity auction. Referred by: We are familiar with the 501st in Denver where we currently live as they host a charity auction for Make a Wish that we attend every year (and we will be using a lot of things won from the auctions in wedding decor around the venue) so that is why I wanted to reach out to you first before somewhere else.

I’d be happy to provide soda and snacks/pizza as well. For changing, we have 2 large single use bathrooms, a break room and a backroom that could all be used. Break room and backroom are steps away from the bathrooms. I Comments: We are a new Barnes & Noble that just opened in Meriden, CT. My previous experience has been an intertwining of books and events, with event management at ReedPOP and Phoenix Fan Fusion (Phoenix Comic Con when I was there). In celebration of May the Fourth Be With You and Revenge of the Fifth, I want to provide crafts, storytimes and other activities including photo ops for customers.
